3 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Jeremy Lauzon was selected first overall for Seattle in the team's expansion draft Wednesday. Lauzon is an excellent skater and has all the tools to be an outstanding player in the league. He has spent his young career all with Boston playing in 76 regular-season games. At 24 years old, Lauzon has produced one goal and seven assists. In addition, he blocked several shots for Boston in 2021, blocking 53 opponents' shots in 41 contests. With the opportunity to play for a new franchise, Lauzon has more of a chance to develop than he would in Boston.
