Jeremy Jeffress Earns Save In NLDS Game 2
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress bounced back from a poor Game 1 to earn the save in Game 2 of the NLDS. He would come in to take care of the eighth inning against Colorado and then finished them off in the ninth for a two-inning save. The performance is likely a relief for fans as he had blown a save the day before against the same team. Jeffress has been a shutdown reliever this season and took over as the closer during the season. The Brewers are now up 2-0 in the best-of-five series.
