6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress closed out another key win Saturday versus Detroit. He would come in with a one-run lead in the ninth inning. He would retire the Tigers with three strikeouts to seal the 6-5 victory. The save would be his 15th of the season and third in four days. Jeffress did not spend the whole season as the closer but has been elite through the season with a 1.29 ERA. If Jeffress has a closer job in 2019, his 2018 numbers offer a strong case for considering him in most fantasy leagues.--Jamie Mellor
