Jeremy Jeffress Blows Save In NLDS Game 1
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress had a rough Game 1 of the NLDS. He would pitch one inning and attempt to close out a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning. He would allow three hits and two runs to blow the save. He was partially bailed out when the Brewers would win the game anyway. Jeffress has been a shutdown reliever this season and took over as the closer during the season. The Rockies do have some elite hitters so there is some understandable mitigation but it still was not a good day for Jeffress.
