Jeremy Jeffress Blows Save Friday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers reliever Jeremy Jeffress gave up a run on two hits and a walk on Friday night against the Pirates to blow the save. Though it may seem like bad news, there is actually a silver lining to this. This was the third save opportunity in a row for Jeffress after converting the last two, and Josh Hader pitched the sixth and seventh inning while Joakim Soria pitched the eighth. It looks like Jeremy Jeffress is the closer for Milwaukee at the moment, especially with Corey Knebel being sent to the minors. Considering how good his teammates also are, it's unlikely Jeffress with get every save, but he should get the lion's share until further notice.
