Jerami Grant Plays Well In First Start
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Jerami Grant made his first start of the season on Thursday against the Celtics and he looked good, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block in 31 minutes. Grant has actually averaged 28.8 minutes per game, so he's playing a big part in Billy Donovan's plans. He's mainly out there for his defensive abilities, but he should easily be averaging 10-plus points for the season. The current 30.3 percent shooting has Grant getting only seven points a night, but he made over 53 percent of his shots last season, so in all likelihood, he won't be slumping for long.
