Jerami Grant Ends Slump With 30-Point Performance
4 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant deliver a jackpot to DFS managers who dared to pick him for Wednesday's action when he had 30 points in a 124-101 loss to Portland. He had endured a couple of really rough outings prior to Wednesday, scoring just 16 total points in two games. Grant also put in a big shift on the defensive end with three blocks, and he recorded four assists, two rebounds and one steal while shooting 11-for-19 from the field and 3-for-5 from outside. Grant got off to a huge start to the season, but he has been fading slowly throughout March by averaging fewer than 20 points on below 40 percent shooting since the All-Star break. He gets a great matchup on Thursday to start building momentum again as the Pistons host the defensively-challenged Wizards.
