Jeral Perez Winds Up With White Sox In Big Deal
4 months agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers sent second base prospect Jeral Perez to the Chicago White Sox as part of the three-team deal that included the St. Louis Cardinals. Perez slots in as the No. 13 prospect in the White Sox' system. The 19-year-old has spent this year at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga where he hit .264 with 10 homers and 42 RBI. He is a nice addition to the minor-league ranks for the White Sox. He could progress quickly, although he should be a few years away from making a big-league impact.
