Jelani Woods Finishes With 19 Yards In Week 17 Start
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jelani Woods got the nod to start in Week 17 against the New York Giants when Kylen Granson was ruled out for the second consecutive week due to an ankle injury. However, Woods had a disappointing performance, with three catches out of four targets for 19 yards. His production is a small sample of how the Colts' offense struggled in their 38-10 blowout loss to the Giants. He could have had a 29-yard catch in the second quarter if not for an offensive holding call on right tackle Braden Smith. Instead, that play was officially ruled as a two-yard completion. Woods also had an 11 and a six-yard catch after the first half's two-minute warning. Even if Woods gets another start in Week 18 against the Houston Texans, he will offer little value to your fantasy football roster.
