Jeimer Candelario Goes Yard For His 11th Home Run
3 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in the team's 8-6 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Thursday. The home run was his 11th of the year. Over 125 games this season, Candelario is slashing .274/.351/.431 with 51 RBI and 62 runs to go along with his 11 homers. The 27-year-old doesn't offer a ton of power and isn't much of a high-upside play in any regard. However, he does have some value in deep leagues and AL-only leagues. His .271 xBA ranks in the 79th percentile and he should continue to contribute a solid batting average most weeks while adding some decent runs and RBI totals.
