Jefry Rodriguez Picks Up a Quality Start but Takes a Loss
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Jefry Rodriguez took a tough loss on Tuesday despite pitching his way to a quality start. In six innings, Rodriguez allowed just two runs on seven hits and three walks. He struck out six and despite allowing a lot of base runners, he was able to keep away from a big inning. The loss drops his record to 0-2, and he'll take a 2.41 ERA into his next start. He's a deeper league option, but most waiver wires should have a guy or two with a bit more upside.
