6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jefry Marte exited Monday's game with a left wrist contusion. He is day-to-day for now. If he were to miss any time, 30-year-old Jose Miguel Fernandez would likely see everyday playing time at first base. Albert Pujols is the full-time designated hitter with Shohei Ohtani out, and Luis Valbuena is playing third base as long as Zack Cozart is covering shortstop for Andrelton Simmons. Fernandez could be worth a look in deeper formats.--patton
