Jeffrey Springs Looking Stellar Early On
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jeffrey Springs is off to an excellent start this season, compiling a 1.32 ERA and 0.80 WHIP over 27 1/3 innings pitched. The 29-year-old lefty was pitching out of the Rays bullpen early in the season but has since moved to the starting rotation, where he hasn't missed a step. This is largely due to an increase in his changeup usage, which has always been a very solid pitch. Springs should help keep your ratios low and is worthy of an add in most leagues.
