Jeff Teague Posts Another Double-Double
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague struggled with his shooting form on Wednesday against New Orleans, shooting 4-for-13 from the field, but he still ended up getting a nice double-double with 14 points and 14 assists. Teague has now posted double-doubles in both games since returning from a knee injury, so he was clearly rehabbed the right way. The Wolves added a couple of good shooters in Robert Covington and Dario Saric with the Jimmy Butler trade, which will boost Teague's assist numbers. He's averaging 8.1 dimes per game for the season, but he looks set to be a regular double-double threat from here on out. With that said, Teague's double-double streak faces a big test on Friday with Portland coming to visit. The Blazers have been by far the best team in guarding opposing point guards this season.
