Jeff Petry Sits Out Friday's Contest
44 seconds agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry will be a healthy scratch for Friday's matchup against Toronto. He comes out of the lineup after amassing a minus-three rating across the past three games. The entire campaign has been a struggle for Petry, who's produced only one assist in nine games. The Red Wings will insert Justin Holl back into the lineup. Holl has recorded one assist in seven outings this season. He has failed to hit the 14-minute mark in three consecutive appearances but should play a bigger role on Friday as Ben Chiarot's partner on the second defensive pairing. With that said, Holl has zero fantasy value, and managers should look elsewhere for reinforcements at the back.
