Jeff McNeil Scores Twice In Win Over Nationals
4 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil went 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Nationals. McNeil has had a bit of a rough spring, as he's batting just .103 so far with one walk against seven strikeouts. Still, there isn't much to worry about with the 28-year-old, as he's a lifetime .319 hitter who's shown an above-average ability to avoid strikeouts while providing some pop in his bat. McNeil will have the added benefit of hitting in an even stronger Mets' lineup in 2021, which should be a boon to his run-scoring numbers. He's a great target for batting average in roto formats, as well as a prime player to roster in points leagues.
