1 year agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (groin) is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Colorado Rockies. McNeil is dealing with some groin discomfort, according to Mets manager Buck Showalter so he's giving the 31-year-old the day off on Sunday. He will be available off the bench but the Mets are going to be cautious with him. It'll be Eduardo Escobar getting the start at the keystone on Sunday against Austin Gomber and the Rockies.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
