Jeff Dowtin Jr. Returning To Raptors
2 years agoToronto Raptors guard Jeff Dowtin Jr. has signed a training camp deal with the organization over the weekend. The 26-year-old spent last season with the Raptors on a two-way deal. Now, Dowtin will get a chance to earn a significant salary guarantee, assuming he can make the opening night roster. He appeared in a career-high 25 games for the Raptors last season. The Raptors are in need of depth at the guard spot with the departure of Fred VanVleet. Despite that, it's hard to imagine Dowtin offering the team much value next season.
