7 years agoThe Cleveland Indians purchased the contract of left-handed pitcher Jeff Beliveau from Triple-A Columbus. With Andrew Miller (hamstring) heading to the 10-day disabled list, Cleveland needed a lefty reliever and Beliveau got the call. He'll take Miller's place on the roster, but he's unlikely to take Miller's role. Beliveau will likely work as a lefty specialist for the time he stays on the roster.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
