Jeferson Quero Jacks Three Homers
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catching prospect Jeferson Quero hit three home runs in a game for Double-A Biloxi. He is having a great season, slashing .296/.333/.556 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 14 runs, and one stolen base in 22 games. The backstop has produced increasingly solid power numbers as he's progressed to a career-high .259 ISO this season. The 20-year-old is a plus defender, with a 40% caught-stealing rate this season. Quero likely won't see the majors this year, but he's poised to compete with William Contreras at catcher in Milwaukee next season, making him an intriguing prospect in dynasty leagues.
