Jed Lowrie Breaks Hitless Streak
6 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Jed Lowrie hit a solo homer in the fourth inning against the Texas Rangers to break an 0-for-19 skid. He finished the night 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Now sitting at 17, Lowrie has set a new career-high in homers. Despite the hitless streak, Lowrie is still having a good season with 65 RBI and a .280 batting average.
