7 years agoOttawa Senators center Jean-Gabriel Pageau has moved onto the second line in Ottawa after the departure of Derick Brassard and has responded with three goals in his last five games. Pageau had been playing on the third line earlier in the season in more of a defensive role, but now that his role and playing time have increased (20:40 time on ice over the last five games), the offensive production has followed. Pageau has 11 goals on 110 shots this season, giving him a respectable shooting percentage of 10 percent. If he can maintain that shooting percentage with his increased ice time, more goals will follow and Pageau will be an under-the-radar pickup in the right matchup. Ottawa plays two nights in a row to start off next week, giving weekly players a chance to accumulate points quickly and then swap out Pageau for a player with a more favorable schedule for the remainder of the week.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
