Jazz Chisholm Jr. Plays Catch On Monday
2 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Jazz Chisholm Jr. (back) played catch from 90 feet on Monday. The 24-year-old has been progressing in his baseball activities recently as he's also done some ground ball drills. Chisholm has been out since late June due to a right lower back strain. His absence has been tough on fantasy managers as he's in the midst of a fantastic season, supplying value across the board. Over 60 games, he's slashed .254/.325/.535 with 14 home runs, 12 stolen bases, 45 RBI and 39 runs. We don't have a timetable for his return quite yet, but we'll continue to provide updates on his progress as the reports come in from the team.
