Jazz Chisholm Jr. Exits Game With Hamstring Strain
4 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hamstring) exited Tuesday night's game in the bottom of the first inning with a strained left hamstring, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. Chisholm legged out an infield single in the top of the first, and would steal second base, advance to third on a groundout and then score on a sacrifice fly. The Marlins are expected to provide more details on the severity of his strain and how long he may be out after the game. Managers should prepare for the possibility of an extended absence for Chisholm, who had slashed .279/.367/.544 with four home runs and six steals entering Tuesday's matchup with Milwaukee.
