Jazz Chisholm Jr. And Gleyber Torres Likely To Get Reps At Third Base
Jazz Chisholm Jr. could see time at third base for his new team, manager Aaron Boone said on Sunday. The dynamic trade deadline acquisition has played a lot of second base and some shortstop in the majors, so the transition to third makes some sense on that front. The Yankees will have a crowded outfield when Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) returns this week and they need to find a spot for Chisholm to play. Boone also noted that Gleyber Torres could see reps at third base, opening up second base for Chisholm. Either way, both Jazz and Gleyber should see everyday at-bats for the Yankees and the third base eligibility will increase both of their fantasy values.
