Jazz Chisholm Hits An Impressive Home Run On Tuesday
3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie second baseman Jazz Chisholm hit an impressive home run in Tuesday's loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. For the game, Chisholm went 2-for-4 with the home run and a single, scoring twice and driving in two runs. The home run was his fifth of the season and came off an up-and-in pitch clocked at 100 mph. According to Statcast data, Chisholm is the only player to hit a home run off a 100 mph pitch, and he's now done it twice (first off of Jacob deGrom and now off of Jose Alvarado.) Chisholm's impressive rookie season continues, as he's hitting .308 with a .959 OPS and seems fully healthy after spending some time on the IL with a hamstring issue.
