Jayson Tatum Scores Inefficient 26 Points Versus Minnesota
4 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 26 points in Saturday's 124-108 win over Minnesota, but he did it with very inefficient shooting, going 8-for-21 from the field in 27 minutes. He picked up his first double-double of the month with 11 rebounds and registered two assists with one steal and two turnovers. Tatum, who shot 4-for-11 from outside, carried a heavy load here with Kemba Walker getting a rest day. Jaylen Brown (wrist) is done for the year, so Tatum and Walker are expected to carry the side into the playoffs through the play-in tournament. They get one more regular-season game before it, facing New York's tough defense on Sunday.
