Jayson Tatum Scores Game-High 25 Points On Wednesday
4 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum dropped 25 points to lead all scorers in Wednesday night's 110-106 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He shot 11-for-25 from the field and 3-for-4 from the line, but failed to hit a three in the game which hadn't happened yet this year as he's averaged a stellar 3.2 threes per game. He had seven rebounds and a season-high four steals to fill out his stat line on Wednesday. Tatum has had a strong first month of the year. Most of his numbers are on par with his breakout 2019-20 campaign. Tatum and the Celtics have a few days off before facing the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. The Lakers have been one of the best defensive teams in the league this year, allowing just 104.6 points per game.
