Jayson Tatum Scores 20, Struggles From Field
5 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored 20 points on just 38.9 percent shooting from the field with six rebounds and three assists in a 103-102 win over the Sacramento Kings. It's been a struggle for Tatum, as he's shot under 40 percent from the field and made zero threes on eight attempts combined in each of his last two games. Still, the 21-year-old has averaged career-highs in minutes, points, rebounds, assists and steals and is on his way to the best season of his young career. The lack of efficiency shouldn't be a problem, considering Tatum currently leads Boston in both minutes and shot attempts. Tatum will get two matchups in a row against the Brooklyn Nets, who allow the second-most shot attempts per game.
