Jayson Tatum Pours In 25 Points Against Mavericks
4 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum racked up 25 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's loss to Dallas. The 23-year-old has been on a stellar stretch recently, dropping at least 25 points in the past four games while posting 34 in two of those contests. Tatum is one of the core offensive pieces on this team, and because of that, he will remain a solid fantasy option going forward. Up next is a great matchup on Friday against an average Rockets defense.

Jayson Tatum In Danger Of Missing Friday's Game
3 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (knee) is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Heat. The 27-year-old missed the March 5 win over Portland because of a shoulder injury. He returned for the following two games before getting ruled out ahead of Monday's meeting with Utah because of a knee injury. Tatum was out there for Boston's most recent contest, which was a 118-112 loss to OKC. While he was back on the injury report heading into that one, he still finished with 33 points, a team-high. Boston will play the Nets on Saturday, so there's a chance Tatum may get a night off. The Celtics also listed Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jaylen Brown (knee), and Derrick White (knee) on the injury report. With that in mind, Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, and Jrue Holiday may see more looks at the basket.

Jayson Tatum Back For Celtics Wednesday
4 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (knee) has been cleared to return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. An issue with his right knee kept Tatum on the sidelines when Boston hosted the Utah Jazz on Monday. Tatum has produced a couple of 40-point efforts in his most recent appearances and averages a 30-point, 10-rebound double-double for the month. With Tatum back in the lineup, Sam Hauser will likely be pushed back to the bench.

Jayson Tatum May Miss Another Game
5 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against OKC. He wasn't available for the March 5 win over the Portland Trail Blazers because of a shoulder injury. But after playing in the following two contests, the 27-year-old wasn't on the floor for Monday's win over the Utah Jazz because of a right knee issue. The C's have won their last five games, so the team would certainly love to keep it going versus one of the top clubs in the National Basketball Association. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) also questionable, Boston may lean on Jaylen Brown (knee), who is probable, and Derrick White to lead the way offensively. Sam Hauser, who had a team-high 33 points on Monday night, would presumably remain in the starting lineup if Tatum can't go. Of course, Hauser may have a tough time staying as potent on the scoring end, with the Thunder allowing only 106.9 points per game during the 2024-25 campaign, the second-best mark in the league.

Jayson Tatum Sidelined Versus Utah
6 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (knee) won't play on Monday against Utah. He didn't suit up for the March 5 win over the Portland Trail Blazers because of a shoulder issue. But this time, he'll sit out because of a knee injury. Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Al Horford (toe) are also out, so, Sam Hauser, averaging 10.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 12 starts this season, will likely roll with the first five. Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, and Jaylen Brown will likely do most of the heavy lifting on the offensive end.
