Jayson Tatum Enjoys 38-Point Night Versus Brooklyn
4 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 38 points on 14-for-27 shooting in Friday's 109-104 loss to Brooklyn. Marcus Smart was the only other starter to get into double figures as he finished with 19 points on 7-for-17 shooting. Both Kemba Walker (rest) and Jaylen Brown (shoulder) were missing, which gave Tatum all the keys to the offense, and he didn't disappoint. The star forward also notched his fourth straight double-double by getting 10 rebounds and four assists. The C's will roll out against Charlotte's below-par defense next. Tatum had an easy 22-point night in 28 minutes against the Hornets in this season's first meeting on April 4.
