Jaylen Brown Struggles to Hit from Deep
7 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/forward Jaylen Brown cooled down a bit in Friday’s loss to the Pacers. He finished with 16 points but shot only 2-for-7 from downtown. Despite the off performance, February has been kind to the sophomore lottery pick, as he’s averaging 16.0 points on the month, up from his season average of 14.3. The uptick can be attributed to his increase in three-point shooting, as he’s been shooting 46.4 percent on 5.6 shots per game during the month. If the Celtics are going to hold on to their No. 1 spot in the East, they’re going to need Brown to continue his hot shooting.
