1 year agoBoston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown is officially getting a five-year supermax extension worth a whopping $304 million, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. There is no player option, as the entire contract is guaranteed with no incentives, and it even includes a trade kicker. This makes Brown the highest-paid player in the league, and it's the richest contract in NBA history. While everyone knew that Brown was going to get an extension, it doesn't seem that anyone was prepared for the dollar amount.
