4 years agoBoston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (ankle) could rejoin the team for Friday's game against the Chicago Bulls. He missed Wednesday's contest, but is reportedly day-to-day, so the team is hopeful he'll be ready to play soon. Aaron Nesmith has been knocking down everything from beyond the arc. He'll be a reliable streaming option until Brown gets back on the court.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

6 days agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. A minor knee issue will keep him sidelined for the second time this month. Brown's absence will increase the offensive opportunities for the rest of the starting lineup, while Payton Pritchard is expected to see more action in the rotation. The last time Brown was out of the lineup, Pritchard went for 19 points, six assists, and two steals in 32 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

7 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Heat. He's been bothered by a knee issue and wasn't available for the win over the 76ers on March 6. But despite landing on the injury report ahead of the C's previous three contests, Brown has been out there, although he had only 10 points in the 118-112 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday evening. Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jayson Tatum (knee), and Derrick White (knee) are also questionable. As a result, Jrue Holiday, Payton Pritchard, and Sam Hauser might see more scoring opportunities versus a Miami team that has lost five-straight contests.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

1 week agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown (knee) is good to go for Wednesday's clash against the Oklahoma City Thunder. A knee problem initially left Brown with a probable tag entering Wednesday, but the team has upgraded his status to available. Since the All-Star break, Brown has boosted his scoring output to 25.3 points per game, although his three-point efficiency has dropped to 30.2 percent. On Wednesday, scoring won't be easy for Brown and his gang, as the Thunder boast the league's best defensive rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 week agoBoston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) is expected to play on Wednesday versus OKC. Unlike Jayson Tatum (knee) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness), who are both questionable, Brown is probable, so fantasy managers will likely see him on the floor. He is coming off a stellar showing, amassing 26 points, eight boards, seven assists, three steals, and one block in Monday's win over Utah. If Tatum and Porzingis aren't available, Brown should remain the primary scoring option for the C's against a Thunder team that has allowed only 106.9 points per game during the 2024-25 campaign, the second-best mark in the NBA.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
