Jayden Reed Leads Team In Receiving Yards In Week 8
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed caught four of six targets for 83 yards during the team's 10-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. The rookie was third in targets Sunday afternoon but was by far the most effective receiver. Green Bay's passing attack has been suffering due to the inaccuracy of quarterback Jordan Love. However, with Reed playing the slot role and excelling after the catch, he has been able to put up solid numbers despite the team's struggles. There are far too many players getting targets in this offense to count on Reed on a weekly basis, but the rookie is a flex option in plus matchups. Next week's matchup against the Rams is decent, but Reed will be a boom-or-bust option for fantasy managers.
