Jayden Reed Fails To Record A Catch In Wild Card Win
Jayden Reed failed to catch any of his three targets during the team's 48-32 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The rookie led the Packers in receiving yards during the regular season and was red-hot over the final half of it, but he was not a focal point of the offense on Sunday. Romeo Doubs caught all six of his targets for 151 yards and a score, absorbing most of the yards gained by the wide receiver corps. Quarterback Jordan Love only had to throw 21 passes in this game, and with the Packers' receiver corps finally back to full strength, there were not enough targets to spread around. Reed remains a flex option next week when the Packers go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Packers Meet With Jayden Reed To Clarify His Status On The Team
Jayden Reed's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to clarify Reed's status in Green Bay after the team took receivers Matthew Golden (first round) and Savion Williams (third round) in this year's NFL draft, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Packers told Reed it will not affect his status as their top receiver, according to a source. The 25-year-old caught 55 of 75 targets for 857 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (10 starts) while carrying the ball 20 times for 163 yards and another score on the ground in his second NFL season. Reed dislocated his shoulder in the playoff loss to the Eagles and disappointed his fantasy managers in the second half of the season, averaging 29.6 receiving yards and 3.6 targets after the Week 10 bye. He's explosive with the ball in his hands, but he's a boom/bust WR3/flex play, at best.

Jayden Reed Suffered Torn Labrum In His Shoulder
Jayden Reed (shoulder) said on locker cleanout day at the end of last season that he tore his labrum in the wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. General manager Brian Gutekunst said Reed could be limited during the offseason but should be fine for the start of training camp at the end of July. It was initially reported that the 24-year-old suffered a dislocated shoulder, but the good news is that he didn't require offseason surgery. In his second year in the NFL in 2024, Reed looked primed for his first 1,000-yard campaign early on, but he limped to the finish line and ended up with 55 catches on 75 targets for 857 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (10 starts). He also added 20 carries for 163 yards and another score. He's settled in as a boom/bust WR3/flex in fantasy, but he could have more upside with Christian Watson (knee) set to miss at least half of 2025.

Jayden Reed Doesn't Need Shoulder Surgery
Jayden Reed (shoulder) said on Monday that he will not need surgery on his shoulder after suffering a dislocation late in Sunday's 22-10 wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. "Thank God for that," Reed said. The 24-year-old slot receiver should be healed in time to take part in the team's offseason workouts this spring. Reed is one of Green Bay's best big-play threats through the air and on the ground, but he was inconsistent yet again as a fantasy commodity in the second half of the season and finished with a 55-857-6 receiving line on 75 targets through 17 regular-season games, adding 163 rushing yards and one TD on the ground on 20 carries. The former second-rounder finished as the WR26 in half-PPR scoring and will open his third season as a boom/bust WR3/flex option for fantasy managers.

Jayden Reed Suffers Dislocated Shoulder
Jayden Reed (shoulder) left in the third quarter of the wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday due to a shoulder injury and never returned. Reed looked to be in plenty of pain and was later diagnosed with a shoulder dislocation. Romeo Doubs also suffered a concussion in the same game, and Christian Watson (knee) tore his ACL in Week 18, so quarterback Jordan Love was without his top three receivers at the end of the 22-10 loss. Before injuring his shoulder, the 24-year-old Reed caught four passes for 46 yards on his four targets. He could need surgery, but he should have plenty of time to get fully healed in time for training camp this summer. In his second year in the NFL, the former second-rounder led the Packers in receiving yards (857) and scored six TDs in 17 games. He has big-play abilities but has also been a boom/bust fantasy asset in Green Bay's crowded receiver room.
