6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running backs coach Duce Staley heavily implied that Jay Ajayi would be the workhorse back in the Eagles backfield this season. "I'm pretty sure that Jay is excited about being able to go out there and dominate and being able to be that guy," Staley said. "Just him being focused, coming in, knowing he's the guy, knowing he's the guy that's going to step up there and just put everything on his back and ride with him." The Eagles mixed LeGarrette Blount, Ajayi, and Corey Clement last season. Blount is gone, but Clement is back and Darren Sproles will be returning from an ACL injury, so despite Staley's words, it would still seem like the backfield might be a little crowded. Still, it seems Ajayi is definitely the one to own in most formats heading into 2018.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
