Jaxon Smith-Njigba Has Been The Star Of Training Camp
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks rookie first-round wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been the star of training camp so far while seemingly making a highlight-reel catch or two every day. "He looks like he's already been here for two, three years with the way he runs his routes and the way he's picked up the offense," fellow wideout DK Metcalf said. "Every day at practice, how he tracks balls and how he runs his routes, everything. I think he's going to be an exceptional player." Quarterback Geno Smith called him "a natural receiver." ESPN's Dan Graziano thinks the team has real plans for him and that he won't necessarily be brought along slowly. He also thinks Smith-Njigba is a legitimate sleeper for Offensive Rookie of the Year. All accounts of the 21-year-old have been glowing, which is inevitably going to raise his ADP in fantasy drafts considerably.
