Javorius Allen Is A Risky Play Versus Titans
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen, on pace for a career year, has basically shared the backfield duties with Alex Collins this season. Allen was on the field for 50 (57.5 percent) snaps in Week 5 as he totaled a season-high 78 yards from scrimmage, with 34 yards coming on eight carries while hauling in six receptions for an additional 44 yards. He continues to be the Ravens main receiving threat out of the backfield and has led the team with 1.25 touches a game in goal-to-go situations over the first month of the season. While the Titans are giving up the third fewest fantasy points to running backs, they are allowing just 24 yards through the air to backs. Given all that and not knowing how much work Collins will garner, Allen is only a flex option in deeper PPR leagues for Week 6.
