Jasson Dominguez Drives In Two In First Game Back
4 months agoNew York Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez (oblique) went 1-for-4 with two RBI and two strikeouts in his first game back with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday night after being activated from the seven-day minor-league injured list. Dominguez opened the 2024 season recovering from Tommy John surgery and then missed extended time with strained oblique, but he's back now. It's been a year of setbacks for the 21-year-old top prospect for the Yankees, and although he's their center fielder of the future, they aren't going to rush him back to the big leagues in the second half this year. Dominguez hit .389/.405/.639 with two homers in nine games for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before his injury. He should make an immediate impact in all fantasy leagues when he's back in the Bronx, making him stash-worthy in all formats.
