5 years agoJason Vargas is expected to rejoin the Mets' rotation later this week after sustaining a hamstring injury. Vargas struck out five while and allowed one run over four innings in his first rehab start with Double-A Binghamton on Sunday. As shaky as he was before the injury, he shouldn't be worth a look on your fantasy teams until he can prove he can do more than give up bundles of runs. The left-hander holds a 5.92 ERA over 24 1/3 frames with the Mets this season.--Nate Duffett
