Jason Martin Mashing In Triple-A
4 months agoDuring the offseason, the Los Angeles Angels signed outfielder Jason Martin to a minor league contract. After struggling in 58 games with the Rangers in 2021, Martin spent time in the Dodgers' farm system and the KBO, playing well in both. Since joining the Angels' Triple-A affiliate, he's continued to produce. Through 64 games, he's slashing .296/.371/.522 with 17 doubles, 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and 29:60 BB/SO. Should the Angels need another outfielder, Martin should be on the shortlist of potential callups. If promoted, he could provide a late-season boost.
