Jason Foley Earns Four-Out Save Tuesday
2 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Jason Foley picked up his second save of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Brewers. Foley entered the game in the eighth inning with two outs and the tying run on second, but he left that runner stranded by getting the third out on a strikeout. He then shut the door with a 1-2-3 ninth inning with a strikeout. Alex Lange had pitched the two previous days, but he and Foley have both pitched well this season. Foley has now converted both save opportunities with a 1.74 ERA, 10 strikeouts, and three walks in 10 1/3 innings pitched. Both Lange and Foley hold fantasy value in deeper roto leagues at this time.
