Jason Dufner is Still Searching For His Game
6 years agoJason Dufner has been struggling to find his game since May. The American had missed six of his previous nine cuts coming into the CIMB Classic, which included his last three in a row. Fortunately, however, the 41-year-old didn't have to worry about missing a cut in Malaysia with only 78 players in action. With that luxury in hand, Dufner fired rounds of 70, 69, 70 and 70 to finish at nine-under par and a share of 43rd place. While the result is not exactly ideal for the five-time PGA Tour winner, it is a step in the right direction. Dufner will be back in action this week for the CJ Cup in South Korea. His current form makes him a difficult player to trust, but the upside is always there if the 72nd-ranked player in the world can start dialing in his irons.
