Jason Day Gets Second Chance At Torrey Pines
30 mins agoJason Day has gotten off to a solid start in 2025. The golfer from Australia tied for third at The American Express and broke into the top 15 at Pebble Beach. Day has only had one win since 2020, and that was two years ago at the Byron Nelson. However, this has been the healthiest Day we have seen in years, from a mental and physical standpoint. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Day did shoot a 74 and 76 to open and close his week. That was a big reason Day did not contend. Day birdied the 72nd hole on the Torrey Pines South Course but had five bogeys before then including three on the back nine. Day is a long shot here, but he does learn from his mistakes well.
