1 year agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Jason Adam recorded his ninth save of the season on Monday when his club defeated the Boston Red Sox 4-1. He threw one inning of work, allowing no baserunners and striking out a pair. Adam's sporting an impressive 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 32.1% strikeout rate over 25.1 innings after his latest outing. With closer Pete Fairbanks (hip) on the shelf for the time being, the 31-year-old should continue seeing the majority of save opportunities, making him a relevant fantasy option in every format.--Spencer Seguin
