Jason Adam Blows Save Thursday
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Jason Adam had a tough outing on Thursday, allowing two runs and taking a blown save in a 6-5 loss to the Kansas City Royals. Adam was called in as the set-up man in this one, working the eighth inning and handing it off the Pete Fairbanks. Alas, both men failed at their tasks in this one. It appears as though Adam is falling out of favor with Fairbanks back in the mix, as the latter has all three save opportunities since his return. If that continues, Adam's value will be limited to saves plus holds leagues or deeper rotisserie formats.
