Jarrett Culver Snags 10 Boards Amidst Ice-Cold Shooting
Jarrett Culver tied his career high by grabbing 10 rebounds during Tuesday's loss to the Clippers. But while he snagged double-digit boards for the second time in four games to begin 2020-21, he shot 0-for-10 from the field overall, including missing all three triples that he attempted in his 26 minutes. At just 21 years old, Culver is still in line for considerable growing pains as he acclimates to the league; with Karl-Anthony Towns (sidelined) for the foreseeable future, Culver should garner additional chances to expand his game, even if clunky stat lines are the result. Getting the start at the power forward slot Tuesday portends well for Culver's rebounding outlook heading into what will likely be a fast-paced matchup Friday against the Wizards.

Jarrett Culver Enters COVID-19 Protocols
Jarrett Culver has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Golden State, having been placed in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Culver has appeared in just 12 games this season for Memphis, averaging 4.3 points while shooting 52.4 percent overall. Selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft, Culver has struggled to carve out a niche across his first three professional seasons, keeping him off fantasy radars in all season-long formats. He will remain out indefinitely while in the league's protocols.
