2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs. As expected, Kelenic will get the night off with left-hander Drew Smyly on the mound for the Cubbies. The 23-year-old appears to be in a platoon role, but that's fine as long as he continues to hit well. Right now, Kelenic is hitting .286 with two RBI and two steals this season. AJ Pollock will cover left field and bat fifth versus Smyly on Monday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
