Jarred Kelenic A Player To Watch For The Future
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic has been a bright spot for the Mariners in their summer camp so far. The No. 11 overall prospect has been receiving praise from Mariners manager Scott Servais and general manager Jerry Dipoto, though they acknowledge that Kelenic will likely not be an impact player in 2020. "You have to remind yourself he’s still 20 years old and has yet to pile up 100 plate appearances above A-ball" Dipoto said. Though Kelenic is unlikely to be a difference-maker this season, he is definitely a player to watch in coming seasons, especially in dynasty leagues. Kelenic hit 23 home runs and stole 20 bases in 500 plate appearances in the minor leagues in 2019 and could be a future fixture in the Seattle outfield.
